Facilitator:
Hello! My name is Julie Püttgen. I identify as a white, cis-gender woman, a Buddha-queer feminist, and a first-generation immigrant who's had a taste of being on the wrong side of US immigration law. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I show up in the world as an artist, arts educator and activist, therapist, and meditation teacher. I became a SoulCollage® Facilitator in June 2020, so even though I've been teaching and facilitating groups for many years, I'm freshly excited about offering this group. A committed meditator since 1995 and former Buddhist nun, I facilitate retreats and programs exploring the intersections of Art (creativity) and Dharma (applied insight). I also offer Expressive and Somatic therapies for adults and adolescents as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor at the Center for Integrative Health in Hanover, NH, where I also coordinate Community Enrichment Programs. My family and I have lived in Lebanon, NH, since 2010.

The expressive art of SoulCollage® operates on many levels:
- As a practice of creating cards, it is a channel for connecting with intuition, trust, play, and creativity.
- As an evolving deck (along the lines of a self-made Tarot or oracle deck), SoulCollage® opens a panoramic view of each creator's inner committee, community, connections to archetypal energies, subtle body in connection with Nature, and participation in Being itself.
- As a community practice, SoulCollage® offers deep, meaningful opportunities to witness and be witnessed by others on a shared - yet always unique - wisdom path. It's a great way to form and maintain meaningful connections in times of change and transition.

Materials:
- Card stock/mat board/cereal boxes/other packaging, cut to a consistent size. 5x8" is a standard SoulCollage® size. You can also choose another size that feels good in your hands and gives you room to collage elements together. You'll need about 30 pieces, maybe more, maybe less.
- Glue stick
- Scissors with a good tip
- Old magazines and books for collaging
- A notebook and pen for scribing
- If you like, you can buy clear plastic sleeves for your cards. This makes them easier to shuffle and protects them.
- If you like, you can prepare backing papers for your cards, to unify them as a deck and/or to identify your Suits (I'll say more about this - for supply purposes this means you might like to have some decorative / wrapping papers cut to the same size as your cards).
