What are Family Constellations and SoulCollage®?
Upper Valley Constellation Circles is a series of monthly, in-person programs in Lebanon, NH designed to safely, creatively, and compassionately explore lineage resources and burdens through Family Constellations and SoulCollage® practice.
Here's a tiny bit about each of these practices:
Family Constellations practice, first proposed by German therapist and ex-priest Bert Hellinger, offers tools for recognizing the loyalties and legacies within ourselves and our family systems, releasing unneeded burdens, and restoring the flow of love between generations and individuals. Our Circles will draw from Family Constellations to build living maps of our family systems, within which suffering may be seen and released, and healing movements may be completed.
SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice that gives form to the wild wisdom and diversity of each maker’s soul, using simple methods and collage materials. There’s room in a SoulCollage® deck for your community, the Ground of Being, your inner Committee, your teachers, your connections to chosen lineages, your shadows, and much more. Founded by Jungian psychotherapist Seena Frost, SoulCollage® is a global community of makers, facilitators, and communities who gather to make, consult, and share their cards.
We will also draw from Authentic Movement practice as a way of listening deeply to embodied wisdom.

What can I expect from an Upper Valley Constellation Circle?
We'll begin with an opportunity to arrive and orient to resources via SoulCollage® and guided meditation practice. You'll have the opportunity to meet other participants, check in, find creative ways to honor what matters to you, and consider the strengths and challenges you are bringing with you that day.
Then we'll move into Family constellations practice. A participant will come forward with a challenge or pattern they are currently experiencing. With the facilitator's help, this participant will choose representatives from among their fellow participants to stand in for members of their family of origin and/or elements of the situation they are exploring. Through deep listening to this living, systemic map, the participant will discern healing movements in their life and situation.
Then we'll move into Family constellations practice. A participant will come forward with a challenge or pattern they are currently experiencing. With the facilitator's help, this participant will choose representatives from among their fellow participants to stand in for members of their family of origin and/or elements of the situation they are exploring. Through deep listening to this living, systemic map, the participant will discern healing movements in their life and situation.

...shows up in the world as a multimedia Dharma artist who facilitates retreats and programs exploring embodied sacred-ordinary space. A practitioner of Buddhist traditions for nearly thirty years, Julie’s particular love is the creation of new objects, regalia, and rituals of devotion for What Is, in all its squirrelly, complex, contentious, and loving forms. Julie is also a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) in private practice in Lebanon, NH, with specializations in Somatic and Expressive Therapies. She is a certified SoulCollage® and Family Constellations facilitator.
