WHAT: REAT group supervision invites focus, clarity, community, and curiosity to participants’ practice as expressive arts therapists. Each session will include opportunities for participants to touch into their own creative, intuitive knowing and their developing narratives as practitioners; as well as case consults, methods presentations, and exploration of the intersections of multimodal EXAT with relevant other areas of expertise.
WHO: This group provides group supervision hours for candidates working towards the REAT credential. It is also open to other practitioners seeking support as they incorporate intermodal expressive arts into their client work. This group does not provide clinical supervision towards state licensure requirements. WHEN: We will meet the second Friday of each month from 10-11:30AM Eastern. Upcoming dates are 9/12, 10/10, 11/14, and 12/12. COST: Sliding scale $50-100 per session COMMITMENT: Once constellated, this will be a closed group, with quarterly opportunities for new members to join. Quarterly commitment to participate in the group is encouraged. FACILITATOR: Julie Püttgen, MFA, REAT, SEP, LCMHC is a lifelong artist with past lives as a Buddhist nun and college art professor. She facilitates workshops and retreats at the intersections of art, Dharma, movement, and community ritual. Her current art practice centers the creation of new regalia from old garments.
